Vail, Colorado

Vail is a wonderful destination for a honeymoon in Winter and Summer.  Obviously, it is a wonderful place to enjoy world class skiing.  It also is a nice place to visit during the Summer with its very enjoyable Summer weather.

Vail has several places to enjoy for the ski enthusiast.  Vail has different ski slopes for all skill levels and instructors for any type of situation--group or private.  Vail is also a hotbed for snowboarders with several offerings for experienced snowboarders and beginners alike.

Lion's Head Village is a great village within Vail with a series of brand new stores, shops, restaurants and hotels.  The renowned Vail Village is excellent as well.

Vail is about a two hour drive from Denver, Colorado; there is a small airport within Vail itself, but it can be difficult to fly into that location given the unpredictability of the weather.

Vail has a very extensive free shuttle bus system within the entire town.  Renting a car is really not necessary but it can come in handy to avoid waiting outside in the cold weather for your bus to show up!
